From an NPR news report on the New Hampshire primaries: “[One New Hampshire voter] says that there are several candidates that he likes, but he is most excited by the prospect of reporters following the candidates out of town and not stopping him to ask him what he thinks every hour of the day.”
I’m so glad I’m in a relatively insignificant state for Super Tuesday, but even I’ll be happy when the NH Primary is over. See, much of southern NH falls into the Boston TV market, so the candidates advertise HERE on OUR TV stations.
*chuckles*
Oh gawd yes. Even as I sat and read LJ after having voted, somebody from the Obama campaign called me (I didn’t answer).
It’s been a nightmare for the last 3 months…telephone calls all day and a mailbox full of those glossy political flyers that aren’t even good for starting a woodstove.
Please go away and stop bothering us!
That’s awesome. Awesomer still that NPR would actually air that. I like it also when they read aloud some of the emails they get, including the scathing ones. You go, NPR!
