So in celebration of extended daylight hours and spring and all that other stuff, I did a little sprucing up. Check out the new style for my journal. I’ll be tweaking it a bit over the next few days (need to improve the spacing of the headers and maybe change the date format), but I’m pleased that I’ve gotten this far.
Credit-where-credit-is-due Department: this is based on millenia‘s Millenial Paper style. If you want to mess around with the style of your journal, be sure to check out the lj_style community.
Thank ye!
These are some useful links you’re coming up with Duncan. Definitely helping out a relative newby to LJ like me. Keep up the good housekeeping! 😉 *snug*
I like. 🙂 Very nice layout.
Made a calander and daily entry page
If you’re intrested…I liked that style Millenial Paper but it didn’t have a calander or daily version. I made one.
#97678 for the calander
#97691 for the daily entry page.
The only heads up…since they don’t have a macro for the user’s picture…I have to hard code it in. If you forget to change it…you’ll have my lovely mug staring at you.
Re: Made a calander and daily entry page
Cool! I note, though, that according the LJ Gods when LJ rolls out their new style system (S2), “everything inherits from different templates you make, so all your pages look the same by default, and then you can tweak each page/view if you want.”
I think I’ll wait for S2 🙂
Re: Made a calander and daily entry page
Oh cool. 🙂 I can’t wait for that…
Just a quick correction…I used the refried paper as the basis…but the form’s the same…just some color differences..but it gives you a starting point.
