Just last night, all construction work was been picked up on I-290/IL 53 at I-90 (right next to the hotel), so there should be much clearer sailing for everyone who will be driving in!

yesterday morning on my way to work both directions were still under construction. On the way home southbound was opened, but northbound was still bottlenecked.
This morning, both were open…talk about excellent timing. I can actually make good time getting to the hotel from work! Earlier this week it took me an hour to get from lake cook rd to the 90/gulf/other exit…and that was only just about half way home.
and the new 355 extension is open, I used it last night.
So those driving from the south can jump on that and take it straight to the golf rd exits.
