We’re home safe. Apparently we just dodged the thunderstorms that delayed flights into O’Hare for up to three hours, and caught the northbound Metra train with seconds to spare. I’m almost done catching up on 300+ LJ posts. takaza went to bed at about 6:30, and I don’t see myself staying up too late tonight, either
In summary: It was completely exhausting. It was fun. We’ll be back.

Glad you made it. One friend of mine heading back to Seattle got stuck in Cincinnati, and had to spend the day there, ack! Advantage: midwesterners. 😉 Hmm, though technically, Denver is a bit west of midwest, I still have the benefit of a major airport in the middlish.

I want to do it all again next year, too… except for the drunk part. That was a learning experience. But overall I had a great time hanging out with folks and working in AA. 🙂

I went *way* overboard, never had any water, very little food, and way too much alcohol. Very sick the next day and a half and still dealing with anxiety rebound. c.c
