I think it would definitely depend on the environment. In some situations, a strict 9-5, not so much. But if the company we’re a little more laid back I’d be all about it. Ideally, I want a professional job that you can wear jeans and a shirt to.

I’ve rather surprised myself with how much I’ve come out of my shell around the quarter century mark (yeah, I’m looking way back here). I think that was about the time started inviting me to her and ‘s apartment on a semi-regular basis, and I met more fun folks like , , and there. From there, I met and , and the rest, they say, is history. It’s to the point now if I don’t have something going on at least every other weekend I feel isolated and down.
Although times have changed and some people have moved on from here, I still feel very “at home” here. It’s also where all my immediate family and relatives live. That said, if I were to branch out, I’d probably want to land in Chicago. π Those day-long trips on the Lake Shore Limited hardly faze me any more! (…just the co$t.)
And, yes, I believe I’ve been invited to help out in MFF’s A.A. this year. (Further, if I do go to AnthroCon, I’ll have to track you and down to see if you could use any help. …why are you grinning like that??)

Are you and Kimba still active in any part of furry fandom?
Re: me next;)
1) yes it has been _way_ too long since I’ve seen you, too. But after the last year or so, I have no idea if I’m coming or going or even if I’m fit company for anyone outside of my immediate family. Family illnesses & deaths take a real toll on you.
2) Let’s see, Dan just turned _28_ yesterday, Neko is 25 going on 26. yes, I am _that_ old;) They still live at home, but are planning to move to a house with the kid I think of as my “third son” (Paul) because he has been here a lot – great kid at the beginning of May…..Both work in a pharmacy, Neko works in the same pharmacy as I do, Dan works for the same company, another location. Kimba is still a tech writer, still not really thrilled about it, but is doing fine. So far (knock on wood), no more kidney stones or stomach flus for a while. And me? I still am a medical records tech, not too thrilled about the company and wondering what the next move should be.
3) orange & white work
4) well, thank you.
5) it was either chocolate cake or milky wonder cake, I don’t remember which…which reminds me I got to make a cake for my youngest sister….
6) π
7) I haven’t looked at the ALF group in ages – after I had a hissy fit & left, I got sucked into working a _whole_ lot of overtime on a startup pharmacy. _never_ again_. I can’t really say I’m part of furry fandom to any real extent. I did just adopt some Australian sheep (all the babies were adopted by Angelina Jolie;))
Kimba maintains his Kimba website, which, of course is about Kimba the white lion & some other feline related movies (“Two Brothers”, “Christian the Lion”).
*wow* what in the world happened in all this time, besides big chunks of life throwing us for a curve?

Will marriage ever be on your mind, or are you happier with how things are now?
1. it’s amazing to me how many ways that’s true… the funny thing is, there are still some pretty fundamental differences that we bump into all the damn time. i think we’ve just been lucky enough that both of us are willing to do the hard work of learning to live with each other well – or at least functionally – anyway. (it helps that it’s so worth the effort…)
2. heh. the funny thing is, i do that almost every weekend… it’s my primary way to unwind.
7. don’t know about "ever", but it’s not at all on my radar right now. if we have kids, then sure, for legal purposes… but i don’t see the point, otherwise. personally, i don’t need god, government, or society to validate my relationship. m. and i have a commitment to each other, and that’s all that matters to me…
Im game
