giza seems to have gotten me addicted to WikiFur. I have to admit, I never really saw much use in wikis but I’m now starting to understand. This is a fun collaborative tool, and it lets you play at being both an author and an editor. Click on over and take a look – you may find that someone’s already written an entry about you 🙂
Intresting.
I’ll be intrested in seeing what it evolves…or de-evolves into.
Well, they’ve already survived a “goon rush” quite well and things seem to be pretty sane and level-headed – even on a lot of hot-button issues. The interest is in providing a neutral point of view and though it may take a couple of edits that’s usually what is arrived at. The discussion Confurence and what led to its demise is a pretty good example of that, I think.
Yeah, a wiki can be cool.
I should look around and see if there’s more general SF/Fantasy fandom wikis about. Or, as I think some more about NorWesCon 9, maybe I should just stay away…
^_^
Yeah…I offered a few minor edits to one particular article, beefed up the one on MFM, TnFur, and arf…and added myself 😉
And, BTW, you have to look at my entry. 🙂
what an interesting tool! 🙂
Ah, writing! Looks like so much fun, I must write something.
Join us.. join us… join us…
One of us! One of us!
All right, all right, I took the blue pill.
(Or was it the red pill? I forget)
Heeeyyy…. o.O
Fascinating…
… I shudder to think what an article written about me would say. *g*
