10:30 PM. It would have been sooner, but I was playing one of those damned addictive games from popcap.com.

Probably lose about 50 pounds. I’m happy with how I am, but I know it could be better, too.

Plastic, unless I need paper bags to put newspapers in for recycling.

Oy, there’s so many. Friends, Fear Factor (ugh), any of the Bachelor/Bachelorette shows and their derivatives, American Idol…

I was virtuous – I had a salad from the Lowes Foods salad bar. Too bad the lettuce was starting to turn brown; I don’t think I’ll be doing that again.

Surprised, yes. Scared, no.

Dry Idea, unscented.

Whole Foods Market. Mmm, what a wonderful store…

Spring or fall. Not too hot, not too cold. Just right.

Anything with chocolate.

A maid, though I perform both duties quite admirably, thank you!

Actually, I don’t eat candy. Though if offered, I’ll happily take a peppermint Altoid, thank you.

15. REGULAR OR DECAF?

Regular, all the way. I know what they have to do to the coffee to make it decaf, and I’m not interested after it’s been through that.

16. FAVORITE RESTAURANT?

Right now, Rio Churrascaria, a local Brazilian steakhouse. Enoteca Vin is a close second.

17. WHAT CHARACTERISTIC DO YOU ADMIRE?

Honesty.

18. FAVORITE HOLIDAY?

Fourth of July. Something about the sense of wonder that goes with fireworks.

19. FRUIT OR FRUIT SMOOTHIE?

Fruit. I’ve yet to find a fruit smoothie for which I really care for the taste.

One. Gold, engraved on the inside with “Tom and Dan 11-18-01”

Medium rare for beef. Pork should still be ever-so-slightly pink, and chicken just barely white. Use an instant-read meat thermometer, though – it’s a better gauge for doneness anyway.

A Valentine’s Day card for Dan.

No music playing, but if it were it would be the Progressive/Adult Contemporary channel on Music Choice.

College football. And with Virginia Tech coming into the ACC, it’s going to get pretty wild in the coming years!
