I sent out request for comments on this year’s registration to eleven members of my Registration staff on Sunday. So far I have received…two replies (thanks, Dave and Syn!). Helooooo? Any thoughts, guys?

Sorry…I just sent my reply to you out.
I know Rasslor is ultra busy with school work. And I’d almost kill him if he spent time on anything else but his work. He’s terribly behind. 😉
I’ll get him to write up something as SOON as he gets freed up, which isn’t this weekend.
So this means I shouldn’t be reading this LJ.
Whoops.

I wasn’t on staff, but I’ll give you my opinion.
Registration was very quick on thursday night, even though it seemed to be busy.
The only minorly anoying part was the table with the reg forms. People stood at the table filling out their forms, which blocked the way for the pre-reg people. We didn’t know if we should just wait behind them, or continue on.
In the future, clipboards with attached pens would be helpfull, perhaps a small table all the way by the end of the line. Perhaps a sign saying “If you are not registered yet, please fill out one of these forms”.
Otherwise, don’t change things, it’s nearly perfect, and unless you see an obvious glaring reason why you would want to change things, don’t. I know that sounds strange coming from someone who’s computer is in a constant state of design-flux. It’s really the help-desk side of my personality talking.
I’m going to go take something appart now, take care!
