Not much going on this week, which is quite a difference from last week. Not much going on on the job front, though there’s a possibility in Columbus that I’m exploring. That would be a pretty good location, but we’ll see what comes to pass. Otherwise, there’s not much on the job listings I follow at the moment, but that can change quickly. So I wait, and call recruiters, and keep the faith.
Yesterday we went over to Thomas and Sherry’s for our bi-weekly Mage/Werewolf game. Just before we headed up there, while I was grilling up burgers on the back deck, we were paid a surprise visit by a local canine denizen – a very friendly guy who looked to be an akita/chow mix (maybe?).

It was kind of nice, since both Takaza and I have been lacking for some Quality Dog Time. We’re hoping to get in a little more quality dog time this weekend when we attend the Canine Frisbee Disc Competition in Bond Park in Cary on Saturday (any locals want to go with us?).
As for today, I’ve got a couple of loaves of honey whole-wheat bread rising right now, and I think we’re going to do chicken and dumplings for dinner, yum!
Maybe all akita…..don’t see any chow there. Looks to be a puppy, the paws are HUGE! Does he(?) belong to a neighbor? Maybe he will adopt you or, at least, accept y’all as surrogate “parents” and come calling often. Mom
