It’s a link-o-licious kind of day!

First off, we have, that bane of our society: Kinder Eggs! Who knew such evil was among us?

This is worth reading if only for the headline: Today’s recipe: Grilled Martha

Apparently hen parties invading gay clubs is a rising problem over in the UK. Somehow I just don’t see that happening on this side of the pond…

Did you know that there’s a Dog News weblog? Isn’t that just cool?

Speaking of whom, I suppose I should mention that a couple of folks have popped up on my Friends List, thinking they might sneak in unannounced. I think not! Howdies (however belated) go out to DeviousBruin, Wastrel, giza, nrasser (a sneauxmiaux of few words, apparently), posicat, and Custer Winston.

    Fight the power!
Coincidentally, Last night I headed over to the local produce store that’s been my “embedded non-food product” connection for the past few months last night to get some Kinder Eggs to bring along to a family gathering this weekend, and they’ve stopped carrying them, damnit. Word to the wise, if you find some place that carries them here in the states, stock up. And send me their address. 🙂
BTW, that link to the Guardian just points to a banner ad of some sort… 🙂

They’re pricey, but Capri Flavors out of Morrisville, NC (right next to RDU airport) carries KinderEggs. Dan had good luck buying them by the case from eBay 🙂
Oh, and I fixed the Guardian link. Thanks for pointing that out.

Thanks for the word, it’s good to know they’re still there to be had without planning a trip to Canada. It was nice being able to just walk down the street and get them for 60 cents each, though. This must be the way crack addicts felt when they made that illegal…

Of course – I should have mentioned that. I remember Tom from the ASB mailing list (and its more interesting sister list, as well), several years ago. Seemed like a genuinely interesting and nice fellow.

KinderEggs are awesome! Jeremy and I bought a TON of them in Munich. Now I’m all wistful and longing for dark chocolate and chokable toys.
