Hendrick’s Gimlet: 1:1 ratio of Hendrick’s Gin to Rose’s Lime Juice. Oh my god, so good. I will be making more of these. Thanks, Ford!

Im a big fan of Tangeray Rampur gin and squirt.
So I could approximate that flavor by taking half a lime, half a pinecone, and putting them in the blender for a minute? 🙂
Cucumbers, actually – see my comment below 🙂
Ah. A pinecone, a lime, and a cucumber. Got it.
For those of us who don’t have a “taste” for gin, a lovely variation is the same equal parts, but of Ketel One vodka and lime juice, shaken over ice and strained into a martini glass.
In the words of the late, wondrous Wilson “Bob” Tucker, Smoooooooooooooooooooooooooth.
Actually, I’m not much of a gin fan myself. Hendricks, though, is divine – it’s flavored with cucumber, which really takes the bite of the juniper out of the equation. Hendricks is the only gin I can or will drink neat.
Um, I’ll still pass. I’m not a big fan of cucumbers, either. Well, except for Cucumber, WV, the Next Town Over The Mountain from where my mother, aunt-whom-I-visited-this-weekend, and grandparents all attended high school. :-}}}}
Has Firefly sweet tea vodka made it’s way up there to you guys yet? If not, I must send some to the gang up there. It’s made on an island near me. You mix it up with sweet tea. Can taste only a hint of vodka in it if you make it strong.
