I’ve been hinting for the past few days, but we finally got the confirmation today…

Takaza now has a job in Chicago!

Edit: Oops, I didn’t realize the entry was Friends Only 🙂 The short version: he’s got a job with his company in Mount Prospect, IL (about 5 miles north of O’Hare). It comes with a pay raise, a promotion, and a relocation allowance. He starts on February 14, and will be moving up here on February 12-13. Yay!

      In the jumble of getting everything up here and getting settled in, I suspect Valentine’s Day is going to take a back seat. That’s OK, though – there’ll be plenty of time to celebrate!

        I know about having to let Valentine’s take a back seat-Crim was going to ask me to marry him on Valentine’s, but we were both sick as dogs, so we agreed to go to bed and we’d do that stuff the next day when we felt better-er. 🙂

      Thanks! It’s taken a good bit of patience to get this far, but it’s really worth it. If nothing else, this has “stress-tested” our relationship, and I’m happy to say it looks like we’ve passed with flying colors!
