Good news everyone!
As many of you already know, Midwest FurFest has been lucky enough to welcome the amazingly talented artist kenket as one of our Guests of Honor for next year. If you’re not familiar with her work, hie ye hence to her website and be impressed.
Last night, our esteemed chairman (and really cute wolf) takaza confirmed our other two Guests of Honor. First off, we have a talented writer and the editor of the long-running fanzine Tales from the Tai-Pan Universe: genebreshears! It will be a pleasure to welcome Gene to his first MFF in grand style!
Second, we have a gifted artist who’s definitely on the rise. a longtime supporter of Midwest FurFest, and a contributor to Furry Ninja High School: tincrash!
Congratulations to all of these fine folks!
Must admit, when I think of Tincrash, its Tatty that springs to mind. Then again, I always did have a thing for plump furs. One day I should find out what this FurFest you put so much effort into is like!
Well, that is indeed one of his specialties 🙂 And I would hope that one day you’ll be able to come visit us at MFF! I expect that next year or the year after we’ll be about as big as Anthrocon was, the year that I saw you there. I’m told that MFF has a different vibe from Anthrocon, maybe not quite as hectic.
Well I mean I am flattered that you think of her… I think
It’s a good thing right?
Congratulations, Tin!
I think they made a good choice.
Its a good thing in my book anyhows. Leaving aside what pushes my buttons, I imagine you’ve this virtual muse thing going on; drawings like “sleeping” and “art time” seem personal and expressive. Those are, for me, the ones that bind the two of you together, beyond “Tincrash draws Tatty”. I hope that makes some kind of sense (hope its not entirely in my imagination too).
^.^ I’m looking forward to attending again. 😀
Also, just to put a bug in your ear… Lots of other cons have communities associated with them in which they can post announcements, people can ask questions, etc. Off the top of my head, I know there are , , , , … There are probably others, too. Would you consider setting up one for MFF? 🙂
