Just when I thought the stress was abating, well, silly me. We’ll muddle through somehow, though not without my blood pressure going through the roof in the meantime.
Now, I never post any of the memes that circulate (and usually ignore them, to be honest), but this one’s results amused the hell out of me. The Believe-O-Matic quiz, which selects what religion best fits your beliefs, had these results for me:
1. Unitarian Universalism (100%)
2. Secular Humanism (97%)
3. Liberal Quakers (90%)
4. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (88%)
5. Nontheist (73%)
6. Theravada Buddhism (72%)
7. Bahá’í Faith (70%)
8. Neo-Pagan (64%)
9. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (62%)
10. Orthodox Quaker (54%)
11. Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (54%)
12. New Age (51%)
13. Jehovah’s Witness (47%)
14. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (46%)
15. Taoism (45%)
16. Mahayana Buddhism (44%)
17. Reform Judaism (42%)
18. Sikhism (42%)
19. Jainism (38%)
20. New Thought (35%)
21. Scientology (27%)
22. Hinduism (27%)
23. Seventh Day Adventist (27%)
24. Eastern Orthodox (25%)
25. Islam (25%)
26. Orthodox Judaism (25%)
27. Roman Catholic (25%)
Yeah, I was raised Roman Catholic. This pretty much says about how I feel about it these days, too: Pretty much directly opposite most of the things that I believe. Sorry Mom, your son is a heathen 🙂
Woe is the day when UU is considered more heathen that Secular Humanist.
It’s curious to note that your results here are almost identical to my own results when I tried this meme some time back. That either bodes well for me, or ill for you.
*grin* We’re pretty close–same top and bottom–except that mainline conservative Protestant was even lower than scientology or Hinduism for me.
But I’m cool wi’ dat.
Heathen? I resemble that remark! 🙂 I’m a UU – don’t worry, so is Fred Small. So we’re not all bad!
