I’m pretty sure those laptops are supposed to last a lot longer than yours did. It sounds like they pretty well replaced everything except the LCD display. The cost to them was minimal compared to the possible bad publicity if they’d tried to hide behind their warranty. They’d much rather have you telling everyone how well they treated you and maybe gain some customers and keep you as one as well.
