Nice photos! If I ever manage to go back there, I’d take an RV and spend a few weeks; the cruise was rather rushed for my liking.

That’s sure a fancy (and huge!) ship you were on.

We didn’t do any of the add-on packages, just the cruise itself. We opted to take extra days instead in Anchorage and Seattle to play tourists 🙂 No Denali or Talkeetna for us, though we’re considering going there as a part of the 2013 cruise.

We didn’t see Glacier Bay (not part of this itinerary), but we did get crazy close to Hubbard Glacier, which was very, very nifty. And opted out of driving around Juneau, instead going to the Sled Dog Summer Camp. I just posted a link to all of our pictures, and to the pool of pictures for everyone in our group.

This brings back memories from my cruise/tour (Vancouver to Fairbanks) with Princess in 2004.

Did you pan for gold, land on a glacier by helicopter, go dogsledding or see Glacier Bay? You didn’t write much on the places that you stopped at, on the cruise. During the land tour, did you see Denali or Talkeetna?
