Someone posted a link to it on the Rock Boat site, because they’ve got a lot of places in New Orleans, and there are a few places that are capable of housing a LARGE group, although I’m not sure what the cost would be. There’s one that’s on Prytania (I think it was just to the CBD side of Touro Hospital) that has 7 bedrooms, 5 baths (plus 2 half-baths), and sleeps 17 in actual beds. Yep, a couple people have already talked about taking the train, either City of New Orleans or The Crescent, for the east-coasters. Given the amount of time available to us, we’ll have to fly, unfortunately.

And we already have spoke with Rene and Carol – there’s an outside chance that they might be joining us 🙂 Depends on time, money, and vacation availability, of course.

Also keep in mind the Rene and Carol Gobeyn lived in NOLa fir several years and are loaded with insider info.

So wish we could join you on the trip. So love that city.
