Further research indicates most city parking meters are free after 9pm, so I’d only be paying for maybe 1 hour at most.

The last time we were in that neighborhood (June of this year) there was free parking along the west side of Ashland extending for several blocks north of Foster. Parking along Clark is metered, as is parking on the east-west streets between Clark and Ashland.

The good(?) news is that if they do have the parking kiosks in place now, they take credit cards.
