Twitter is great because it allows for quick and short posts and thoughts, especially when time is an issue. Some days I have no time to write anything in detail, but typing up something very short and fast in Twitter (or Twitter/Facebook) allows me to still record what I want to say, even if that 150 character limit can make things hard sometimes. 😛

I dont have twitter.. I have my opinions about it sure, but beyond opinions, LJ is enough of an intrusion into my already ADD mental state… I dont need a distraction at work beyond those I already have.

So.. thats me, I realize. But that means I wont be reading other peoples direct twitters… time is an issue. I try not to spend any more time on line than I do.. wich is too much.

But finally the real issue I wanted to state. When you were doing the twitter posts behind cut, with little or no indication of what it was about… i was not inclined to click on and read them.

The two are different media generally used in different ways. Twitter is a null bucket for me. I have an account there, rarely read it, and never post. I have in fact defriended a few people who’s entire LJs were nothing but copies of their twits. After all, what were they going to do, bitch about it in twitter? I don’t read twitter remember?
