Someday I need to track you down so we can talk more. I'd love to hear how you retain the energy to write such a huge post right after the convention. I haven't managed to do that after RCFM for four years running, and darn near killed myself this last May (though I blame the old hotel for that).

I also look forward to the day I can attend MFF. I hear nothing but good things, and your passion for making it what it is becomes pretty obvious in this essay. ;)

Thanks a lot, Tom. I haven't finished with this year yet. The secret to handling everything that happened was to allow some balls to fall. Thankfully, most of them bounced up and I could continue juggling them. I will be unavoidably busy over the next few weeks. I might be a long time (say end-of-year) tying up loose ends before I truly consider next year.

It was a pleasure to work with you and the rest of the team, as always. Memory of that goes a long ways towards determining what I will be doing next year. Now both of you, get some rest. Watching you and your husband running around all weekend wore *me* out. The loose ends I need to work on will be fine if they wait until January.

No problem Duncan. Glad I could help. Even though it "felt" like I wasn't being all that productive; bouncing from Consuite, to elevator duty, to stairwell duty, to door guard, to reg, etc. Somehow the weekend felt like I wasn't doing all that much because I didn't have a consistent job even though if I had a pedometer I'm certain it would have screamed HELP Meeeeee! and burst into flames.

We had a rather persistent and rude press photographer show up outside the hotel on Saturday afternoon. Once the hotel's security staff showed up and had a little discussion with him about the difference between public and private property, he left quietly.
