remember you FAIL to reject the null hypothesis! gaah we got preached that in the six sigma classes..and i still havent sorted it all out.

Considering that I absolutely hated the one statistics course I took in college, I didn't have high hopes going into this class. Those hopes have mostly been confirmed so far, but to be fair we're only halfway through. We've only covered the basics - normal distributions, quick diagnostics with histograms, t-tests, etc. I'm still having problems wrapping my brain around null and alternate hypotheses, but I suspect my problem is less with the concepts than in how the concepts are being presented.

Im curious as to what type of things were covered in your stats class. I really need to bone up on mine, my first foray into stats at all was during my green belt training.
