If you could justify it in business terms, your company’s Websense admin could put in a category override for it. If I remember correctly, it used to fall into “Message Boards and Clubs.” And with Websense, they should be able to filter on full URI, so that some of the communities are sex-related shouldn’t block the whole site.

That said, I’m annoyed that Websense has done away with the “Suggest a Change” function on their customer web site; they now prefer it to be sent in e-mail to suggest@websense.com. 😛 (Whee, contributing to spam!)

That is if you use the pre-intalled Internet Explorer.. After I installed Firefox at work, it let me through.

Websense sometimes blocks pages I Need for work though…like The Elsmar Quality Forum, and I can completely forget about making any visits to the OMRON homepage.

If I am in ever dire need to visit a web page thats blocked i can pull it up on the iPhone, or take the personal laptop closer to the window where I can pull up some unprotected WiFi spots.
