Hope your feeling well. Sounds like you lucked out. I had to soak both times. Thank god for whatever they use to dull the pain….until it wares off 4 hours later, almost always while trying to sleep.

Heh. I seriously doubt I’ll be up for playing, not that I’m much of a player even when fully healthy. As for other duties…we’ll talk when I get there, how’s that?

As much as I hope your foot does heal in time for the game so I can try to beg you play, I’m just glad the procedure went well and can understand not taking the field. But can I convince you for one of the other duties, like color commentary and scorekeeping or umpiring or grocery shopping?

last year I had the side of my big toenail removed from my right foot. The worst pain indeed was the needle prick for the anesthesia. The weirdest part was the doc taking his q-tip full of phenol and shoving it into the nail root. It felt like he was using a hammer and chisel.

…and then there was the time in High School when I had my entire left big Toenail removed for the same reason.

Oh, is it Market Days this weekend? Huh, so it is. I think I walked through the festival last year, but I was alone. I think that would be a lot more fun with friends.

Damn I forgot softball was this Saturday…probably not going to make it as we have plans to go up to market days and meet some people.
