I understand there have been some actual deaths as a result of that, right here in this last week of floodstorms. Someone we know lost her vehicle by assuming that a normal road surface still existed under the water where it didn’t. It had been washed away and the running water was five feet deep. Fortunately, she got out. That was right here in McHenry County.

Yay, Around the Clock. Usually the food there is quite good. Try some of the other stuff on the menu. It’s great for lunch or dinner too, but always crowded. That dessert and pastry case at the front of the place has some of the weirdest things I’ve ever seen, too. No, I don’t have that much of a sweet tooth and haven’t actually tried any of them.
