As an aside (and one with which you can relate), we took the boys up to “sliding rock” today – only now it is called “Bust Yout Butt Falls”. The is the area that we discovered years ago on US 64 North out of Highlands (did Bridal Falls, Dry Falls on the way) when Dad discovered “On The Verandah” when we came South from Franklin. The latter was necessary ’cause the road is so twisty/turny you really need to get off it! Of course we returned several times in your’s and Ruth’s earlier years but this is the first time since you graduated from High School! Hasn’t changed a bit! Well, not true, the egress has changed a lot! In any case, Chris and Tim had a total BLAST! The experience came very close to playing in the ocean for the first time. Tim, who fears NOTHING, even leaped from the high point (reached only by rope) once – this after first ascending once and retreating. Gotta hand it to the boy, he’ll do anything once! He climbed the fire watch tower at “The Swamp” with Randy in spite of his fear – Randy was totally impressed! Chris is a self-declared “
fear of heights” person so didn’t even try – either place. But the boys found a “happy medium”….to the point that only the lure of ice cream brought them back to us. We stopped in Highlands for the ice cream (for me…blah) then wound our way back down the mountain…was NEVER so happy to see home! My right leg was cramped from shifting from brake to accelerator! In other words, it was a Wonderful Day! And,…. a trip back in time.

Am so hoping that you are progressing better with your latest “episode de mal”.

I’ll probably pass on Market Days on Saturday, actually, but I appreciate the invite! As for Sunday, I’ll have to see what I can talk Dan into 🙂

Trying to figure out where to go to dinner…figured we might as well eat somewhere different since we are going to be in the city.

Tony wants to do a Brazillian Steakhouse since the one we went to in Downers Grove is no longer there!

Well, I’m gonna be at comicon on saturday(six from battle star is gonna be there… tre hot) but i’d love to meet you two at market days on sunday.

Well, I didn’t say that. My plans are pretty flexible on Saturday, and we’ve got nothing going on on Sunday. It’d be fun to hit Market Days with a group of friends, I think 🙂
