I’m a little disappointed that the novel I was rooting for didn’t win Best Anthropomorphic Novel, but in fairness I haven’t read the one that won so it might be well deserved. I’m somewhat pleased that The Human Memoirs didn’t win – not because there’s anything wrong with that story, but because it’s been available on the web for something like ten years and as such I don’t think it should have been eligible for a nomination this year.
