Yeah, same with the one I attended. Plus, the Weird Al fans aren’t quite as insane as some might think, at least in regards to stage crowding.

Agreed, seafood in quick driving distance of water is much prefered. But the steaks in Chicago were awesome!

Hmm.. RMCF have locations on the Eastern Shore, Williamsburg and Roanoke of all places, but no where near DC. Freaks! It’s okay, my diet doesn’t need them.

Last time we went to see him at this venue, there wasn’t a crush up front as the stage just doesn’t allow it. a lot of standing folks, but you have a (somewhat) comfy seat underneath you when you get tired

Unfortunately, we got the news a bit too late and thus are relegated to the mezzanine. But that’s OK – I prefer not to deal with the crush that always occurs in front of the stage at concerts, anyway.

{sigh} Lobster…

I love living in the heartland, but I know better than to attempt to get really fresh seafood. I’m sure I can get a reasonable facsimile thereof, but it’s not quite the same as eating lobster sandwiches on the dock as the lobster boats come in around you.

And I’ll bet that there’s a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory near you! The darn things keep popping up all over. Not good for dieters, though, alas…

I think he had no less than six costume changes during the show, from the Fat suit, to Jedi robe, to gangsta wear. He’s also really really cool with playing to the audience, and during several songs would come out and mingle with the front audience. I encourage you to get close to the stage if you can, he tends to lob goodies to those nearby 🙂

Funnily enough, we are the opposite with our taxes. Hooray refund from the state, boo having to pay the feds.

Sounds like a lovely weekend. The Apple Pie Apple sounds delicious. Went to dinner last night at a new place near the Capitol called Johnny’s Half Shell. Three different types of raw oysters appetizer, broiled lobster with butternut orzo, and a chocolate Napolean with poached pears for dessert. Yum.
