Well, it’s not required or anything 🙂 Some take the rollover and apply it towards a sponsorship (it’s “worth” a $30 membership), and others prefer to keep buying a membership as a way of donating to the convention.

I know that you guys want to keep track of who did what and for how many hours, but I guess my question is, does everyone who is due a rollover, actually cash it in and use it?

Ideally, the department head for whom you worked will let me know that you are due a rollover. Sometime in the next few months (however long it takes for me to corral the department heads into giving me the info) I’ll send an e-mail and postcard out to everyone who got a rollover to let them know. If you don’t hear anything by March or so, let me know and I can look into it.
