Reduce heat to a slow boil/simmer, cook for ten (10) minutes uncovered, then covber the pan/pot and cook for another ten (10) minutes, Another hint is to make sure that you do not introduce the dumplings to a rolling boil – else you will have baseballs, not dumplings. And really, it’s not so difficult making this for 12 vs. for 4 – provided you have the space and the equipment. Otherwise, the endeavor becomes a rather unpleasant affair.
