They are indeed running ahead of previous years. And I think by now the AC organizers have learned not to estimate whether something is fillable or not – besides, you’ll note that there is already an overflow hotel ready to go. It’s a bit of a shame, really: there’s a Marriott Courtyard right across the street and adjacent to the Convention Center, but they were apparently complete dicks and weren’t interested in negotiating rates at all. Ah well, their loss.
I can safely say, though, that even though the hotels may fill up we will NOT be hurting for function space!

That’s a bit more than I would’ve guessed by now. This hotel was supposed to be ‘unfillable’ wasn’t it? But then, the Adams Mark was originally intended to be a ‘larger space to grow into’ and that sold out the first year there.
Yikes,.. I say.. just YIKES, and though I have reserved my AC room already. (actually waited a little longer this year to end of January) I guess now knowing 75% is full… maybe not risking a “You know, I’ll just go and register a week before!” was a smart move. 🙂

Dude. You could fill the Westin and the Omni, and you’ll still have enough function space for everybody.
If my heart goes out to anyone, it’s the Dorsai. That is a lot of area for them to cover.
