You’d think so, wouldn’t you? But that would only be if you were one of the full-time employees not sent crawling through the bowels of AP8 to patch cranky machines for 10 hours straight 😉 Turned out to be pretty much an all-hands operation for anyone non-contract in IT, even if their job has nothing to do with support.
I am a smidge tired 😉

And we are *still* down. The last update I heard was “We don’t expect to let most non-essential users back on the network until at least tomorrow morning…”
So I sat there at my desk and read for 8 hours today. We’re all going stir-crazy, though. 😛

Wow. We did real good then. We got hit by Zotob.E, but it’s my job to fix these machines. We were affected at the initial infection, but in about a few hours we were back up to capacity again.
But, that’s what I do, fix stuff on bunches of computers all at once. 🙂
