In my previous life as a teacher and quiz bowl coach, I would take our team to Lake Forest College for a national tournament. It’s a damn pretty place. With the money there, it should be.
Years ago, there was a chocolate/soda shop in the town square that would make Cokes from syrup and soda water, mixing it with a spoon. Quaint, of course, and some of the best taking Coke I’ve had.
