I did indeed have a good time, and I did not find anyone to be too strange. As a matter of fact, everyone seemed very well-adjusted and socially adept. I felt let-down. j/k

In reply to posicat. The odd-angles are a unique Firefly trademark. Joss feels it makes things appear more realistic and, er, frontiersy, when the ships occasionally slip out of focus, or the camera doesn't quite keep the ship it's following perfectly centered.

In reply to steviemaxwell. Spaceship physics seemed a little off, and there were some very odd spaceship-following angles, but nothing offensive to general sci-fi fans, just to the physics-purists.

My “no spoiler” comment elsewhere was meant in fun, as the only thing mentioned there had to do with realistic spaceship physics. And I’m sure that if I did see the series I’d understand the reference too. 😉
Next time I’ll be sure to use a different icon or lots of smileys.
