They have a couple of sandwiches on the menu (the turkey and cheese looks tasty), and I’m told their soup is pretty good. Note that they stop serving food at 8 PM. There’s also a Quizno’s a few doors up the street, too.

I’m pretty sure I’ll be there, now that my car is working again. Just gotta look up the directions. How is Cafe Boost for actual food?

We didn’t get into the picture boxes, but they looked undamaged from the outside, so that’s cool. The table leg broke off right where it’s bolted to the tabletop, so a little bit of glue and some wood screws and the damage will be hidden – good as new!
And yeah, the move would have been MUCH more painful without the ramp. I’m just mildly annoyed that the ramp rental wound up being 10% of the cost of the move.

Hm, I’m afraid I’m going to have to be non-committal right now. Paul is making noises about wanting to brew some this weekend and I might help him with that, plus we’ll still be working on rebuilding the bedroom, once we get the living room area back into shape.

Obviously, I highly recommend it. It’s a great “event” kind of place. If anyone’s looking to splurge for a fun meal with friends during MFF, this would be a fantastic choice.

Not having been to Fogo de Chao, I can’t say directly. The review that I’ve seen says they’re pretty comparable, except that Sal & Carvao takes a more traditional route to their spicing on the meat, i.e. more salt. It was indeed slightly saltier than the place in Raleigh, but I thought that improved the flavor.
