Well, technically you’re supposed to turn the rotors -every- time you have your brakes done, unless they’re so worn out that they need replaced. At 57k, you should be fine with just a turning, which you can have done at certain parts stores.. inquiries will need to be made, since I don’t know the stores around here.

Hmm, Linnaeus has a garage, but it’s unheated. And given the current weather, that’s not particularly conducive to doing car work. If we could come up with a way to make it work, though, I’d be very happy to take you up on that offer!
(Assuming I haven’t let stuff go too far and the rotors need to be turned. Ick.)

I’ve never noticed a problem with applying it in the fridgid cold before. Perhaps the defroster heats the window enough? Or the de-icer formula works much colder. I don’t use the wipe-on Rain-x always use the bottled gallon stuff.

I like Rain-X myself. Trouble is, it should be over 40 degrees F when you apply it, and we won’t be seeing a day like that for a while…
