Absolutely freakin’ amazing. I picked up “Paint the Town” after seeing them and I was really impressed by the album. I really need to get more of their albums.
The highlight of that concert was a duet between Chris Trapper of The Push Stars and Sean McCann of Great Big Sea of the original version of “Sea of No Cares” (which Trapper co-wrote with McCann and Alan Doyle). Just them and their guitars – it was a slower, more medititive version of the song, and worth the price of admission all on its own.
