I haven’t been really keeping up with my friends page, so I just picked a few specific people to go read their recent journal entries, so this is the first time I’ve seen this. Gastonia, huh? Wow. That’s where I went to high school (Ashbrook). My family still lives in Belmont. You might consider Belmont if you wind up working in Gastonia. It’s much more convenient to Charlotte. Even Mount Holly would probably be worth a look.
Not that I actually went to Charlotte a lot growing up; mostly hung out at the Little Theater of Gastonia or did other stuff in Gastonia. But Charlotte definitely has more “life” depending on what you’re looking for.
Anyway, if things work out that way let me know. My sister’s been living in various places in Charlotte and eastern Gaston county for years and knows a lot about where to rent/own and all the recent stuff. Of course you may already have a lot of contacts with Sacred Stone.
Hope it works out for you. Hate to lose you from the triangle, but at least Gastonia is close and I’m down there a few times a year anyway.
