Blade grinders are fine for just about anything but espresso or Middle Eastern style as long as you take a bit of care to minimize the amount of coffee dust that makes it in with the grounds. You still end up with incredibly much better coffee than preground.

Yeah, I checked Sweet Maria’s site and they looked like they had some good offerings. I really liked the Coffee Bean Corral site because they are very thorough in their classifications and descriptions of the beans, something that’s good for a neophyte like me.
And yeah, I know that I’m a philistine for using a blade instead of a burr grinder. And one day, I shall long for a setup like this. In the meantime, though, I’ll feed my addiction step by step.
