The Southwest didn’t have a regional con before. Now they do. As with Furfest and Conifur, there just isn’t that much overlap between TFC and Megaplex. It sounds like TFC’s original thing will be to be a traveling con thoughout Texas. I wish them luck with that. The idea of having to get a new hotel every year sounds pretty unappealing to me.

They got comprable numbers to MFF in our first year. I didn’t expect that, with them going right against an already-established convention. Evidently, there’s untapped growth out there, yet.
