In reply to linnaeus. Watch the airlock. When it slows down to a bubble every two minutes or so, that's a good time to bottle. The nice thing is, you could leave it for an extra week or two and it wouldn't do any harm, but that would be another week or two that you'll have to wait before your beer is ready! :-)

Is there a special way you determine it’s time to bottle, or do you just give it a week and a half?

Wine, beer, and pedicures
Glad you enjoyed the wine. I’m going to have to get some more sometime soon.
And may I be put on the list for sampling your homebrew at MFF? 🙂
And don’t laugh at pedicures. Someone’s been complaining that my feet are too rough, so I need to fix that. Heh.

Oh yeah – forgot about that. Well, I’m working tonight, so let’s go ahead and say Wednesday night, 7 PM. Hey, we’ll know for sure it’s done in the fermenter by then, too.

Just wanted to remind you that on Tuesday you had planned to go get a pedicure or somesuch with the girls! Perhaps tonight instead?
