How many toast ovens does one husky (and a wolf) need? I seem to recall that you were saving up your ‘gay recruitment points’ for a toaster oven! (Or did you cash those in on a bread maker?)

Ahh, I read the rules on Transcribing. Apparently friends can do the transcribing and only once. They can’t re-edit what they’ve done.
Also, you did say umm a lot, and I was debating on keeping them in there. I tried to take out the ones.. without trying to remove from what you were saying. I was debating on doing it Word to word, sound to sound.. but, I figured you’d clean it up how you want anyway.
And if it helps, you don’t say um at all in normal conversation. 🙂

Heh. That’s one drawback with the Element: load limits. See, it’s rated load capacity is 650 pounds. Riiiight. That would be a little more than just Dan and I in the car with nothing else. We’re going to blow right past that, but I’m not too concerned about that.
As for the tire pressures, when we bought the car the dealer offered a cool doodad for about $250: Tireguard. It’s four caps that screw onto each tire’s valve stem with a little color band at the end. Green means the pressure’s OK, yellow means it’s a hair low, and red means to add air. Those are cute and all, but what I really like is the insurance policy that comes with it. We’re covered on the tire front, that’s for sure!

Oh yes, you can update the transcription up to ten times, with the tenth time being reserved for the journal owner, by clicking on the “transcribe” link again. I fixed it up, though. Thanks for typing everything up! Good gods, I hope I don’t use that many umms and uhhhs in normal conversation – it sounds terrible.

It’s a geeky feature, but I really like it. I’ll probably use it some more next week as we drive up to Chicago. Believe me, I understand completely about what you mean about double the family obligations! Fortunately, both and I have relatively low-maintenance families, but we’re still going to be spending a good part of the week after the con visiting with his mom and extended family.

You know… I could swear someone (like me) could make updates to the transcription, but.. I guess not. That’s so weird. Anyone could but any weird thing in there and then it’s stuck?
