After 22 hours and 950 miles, I came home just now to a stale-smelling house, had to light the hot water heater, and no-one was here to greet me (must get another dog soon!) At least, the chinese take-out was decent 🙂

Like owning your own bread truck. Or a bulldog you can drive. Anyway, I’d consider an one of those if I were in the market and didn’t have a 50 mile round trip commute each day.
Oh, and it’s a pity you can’t hold out– supposedly there’s a hybrid Escape on the way, but I don’t suppose it would be wise to be a guinea pig and buy Ford’s first hybrid in its first model year.
