Yep, they caught both the door and the back quarter panel between the door and the wheel well. Y&#039;know, if it were up to me and I was the one paying for it, I&#039;d brush away the scuff marks and pretty much ignore it, but since someone else is willing to pay to fix it, well...
I have no idea exactly why the bill is so high, unless, as Dan said, they paint the whole bloody car so everything matches. There&#039;s also the fact that it may come in well under that estimate - we&#039;ll see. I&#039;ve heard no word from them so far, so I assume they&#039;re still working on it.
That sucks about your car, though! Man, I guess everything just hit at once? That&#039;s a pretty hefty repair bill.
(Makes me nostalgic for the days of my F-150, when all I had to do to fix it was open the hood, climb in, and start banging away at it...)]]></description>
