Or you could hard wire your laptop into the network and hook the drive into one of the other computers. That way you can get a faster swap time and maybe do it over a night.

Hmm, sure, that would be cool! It would need to be some kind of external drive, though (all my MP3’s are on my laptop). USB 1.0 works, but that would take a long time – I also have Firewire. Drop me a line at duncan at wolfhusky dot org and we’ll see what we can engineer.
