The one thing I remember hearing about Push, NV is that it represents a return to the days in which advertisers had their products "pushed" during the actual show, and not just during the commercial. I forget what the advertiser/product is, but apparently the show is partially underwritten by some company that, in exchange, has it's products displayed prominently during the show.
So does the action stop from time to time so people can bite off a big chunk of Velveeta? :)

My returning love affair with the idiot box...
Push, Nevada is just too surreal for me. The shows I'm looking forward to this season are Birds of Prey (Smallville for the Gotham City set. I hope they don't screw that up.), Alias (I watched one episode last season that rocked but it was in the middle of the season so I was lost.) and Fastlane, a cop show on Fox by McG, the same guy who directed Charlie's Angels. So, it should be slick and mindless, which I need sometimes. Being out in the midst of BFE with cable and no car tends to cause you to watch just a bit more teevee, especially since the computer and idiot box are in the same room. :)
