I'm feeling stupid, and so I think I'm going to post my two cents on Greymuzzle. Sure, it'll be like kicking a mountain to get it to listen, but hope is stupid, I guess. I can leave a dent in the dirt and say "At least I tried."
After that, I'm probably gone from Greymuzzle. Since I read some of my mailing lists in big, infrequent batches, I pretty much see the same thing all the time; it's the same argument, and the same players. I've got the grey (and I like it) and if somebody wants some purported wisdom, they can find me and ask for some.
I think I've come to the conclusion that following "the truth" and having to be "right" is a possible sign of immaturity. People are where it's at. "The truth" be damned; if you can't take feedback from observing the effects of your actions on others, grow up. And hence, the list doesn't really cater to a mature audience. QED.
Wanna start a "mature" furs list?

I had a bad experience with Wal Mart Super Center when out in New Mexico that has led me not to trust them enough to buy meat from them, and their produce section never really impressed me, but I'm sure this varies from region to region, and I did still buy most of my dry groceries and pre-packaged frozen stuff there.
As for the Greymuzzle list, the past week or so has been atypical. Sooner or later the Usual Suspects will have their fill of attention and the list will go back to being fairly low traffic and tolerably high signal to noise.

When did it start cutting off at 30? I always thought it was 35. I'm 34- but it doesn't sound that thrilling to hear Duncan tell it :)

I'm on the Greymuzzle list also. Haven't had anything to say that was productive for a while, and sure don't need to get into this arguement that's currently going on there myself.

Well, been watching the greymuzzles for a while, and I have to agree.
Seems like the message got lost somewhere in the folds and whiskers.
Besides, age is a state of mindlessness....
