Oh, almost forgot: Sorry, no openings for LabVIEW that I know of. I don’t think we use it anywhere on this campus, though it could well be used elsewhere in the company. I’ll keep an ear out, anyway…

Well, this isn’t quite as fun as you think 🙂 The electronics project I mentioned is actually a microelectronics project – specifically making an adhesive for our Thermoset microelectronics division. This one is a conductive epoxy adhesive (the aluminum powder mixed in doing the conducting, obviously). It’s used as the adhesive to mount heat sinks onto chips and the like. Mostly it’s just dealing with gray goop that tends to get all over everything if one is not careful (and given that epoxy is a primary sensitizer, one must be careful).
