Perfectly understandable. We’ll certainly miss you, but sometimes we’re at the whim of our employers. Been there, done that – Yuck-o. I do hope Jen and Feren consider joining us, though, if they can make it.

I’d really like to come, but (and if you haven’t heard this from me, enough already) spring is a lousy time of year for me to travel. Last year, I worked that Saturday, though I did get Sunday and Monday off. I probably won’t be attending, unfortunately.

Hmm…according to Mapquest, the drive from Holly Springs, North Carolina to Seatac, Washington is only 2,902 miles, or 50 hours and 45 minutes (though we could probably shave that down to 48 hours or so). No problem. Hey, I wonder if it’s too late to preregister? 😉

I got into SotW ‘way back in 1991, back when they were still doing mostly acoustic stuff. As they rocked up their sound, I found their albums to be a bit more scattershot, but there’s always some gem that makes each album worth owning.
Granted, I had to go to Vancouver to get them all (damn US music distribution silliness).

For the last twelve years and for the foreseeable future, my Easter plans have been to attend the Northwest Science Fiction Convention, the best sci-fi convention on the West Coast.
